Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service is hiring Tax Preparers for the 2027 tax season in Ahawatukee, Chandler, Scottsdale Phoenix Arizona. You will complete online training, conduct in-person interviews, and prepare accurate multi-year and multi-state tax returns for clients.

Role includes IRS audit support, e-filing, and timely deposits; a flexible schedule, part-time or full-time options, and potential bonuses for performance and bilingual capabilities. Training provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete our online Jackson Hewitt Tax School and training.
• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Provide expert explanation, preparation, and completion of accurate tax-related forms for clients, including multi-year, multi-state, and year-end tax forms.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support, complete E-filing, obtain signatures, and e-file these forms to IRS and state agencies.
• Collect and process client tax payments while ensuring timely tax return deposits.
• Answer tax questions and advise clients on future tax planning.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration with others.
