Job summary

Sikich is seeking a Tax Scanner to support client tax return documentation and workflow. Reporting to a Manager, you will organize scans, file papers, and ensure proper routing while communicating issues to the tax and admin teams.

An in-office presence is required. Ideal candidates are enrolled in accounting studies, proficient in Excel and Word, and demonstrate teamwork, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Enrolled in high school or an undergraduate program at a college or university, and interested in pursuing a degree in accounting.
• Effective teamwork skills and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions.
• Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Organize and scan client tax return documentation
• File and organize client work papers
• Ensure tax returns are properly routed to the next step within the tax workflow software
• Communicate any issues with members of the tax or administrative team
• Ability to be in office
