No prior tax experience is required; you will receive training and earn a competitive hourly rate ($14.45–$18.00). This in-person role at a local H&R Block office offers flexible hours during tax season and opportunities to increase earnings as you gain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving abilities and organizing information to identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools (Copilot/ChatGPT).
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach.
