No prior tax experience is required; initial training and ongoing support help you grow. Earnings are hourly and can increase as tax knowledge expands; work is seasonal and office-based.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of HR Block tax course or equivalent program.
• Experience interacting with customers in service-oriented environments.
• Strong communication and ability to explain tax information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to organize information.
• Comfort using digital tools, including AI-based assistants.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance.
