Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate for in-person work at a local tax office. You will greet clients, collect information, assist in preparing tax returns and respond to inquiries while building trusted client relationships.

No prior tax experience is required; you will receive training and ongoing support from day one. You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge and grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent
