No prior tax experience is required; you’ll receive training from day one and work directly with clients to gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions while building valuable client relationships. You will meet with clients, prepare returns, and identify tax savings opportunities, with the potential to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience in a service-oriented environment with customers/clients
• Strong communication skills including explaining information clearly
• Problem-solving and organizing information to identify solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems, including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients
• Identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products/services
• Apply problem-solving skills to address questions or unique situations with guidance
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork
