Job summary

A community-focused fitness organization in Austin is hiring Swim Instructors for the summer. In this role, you will create a supportive and safe environment, helping participants of all ages grow in their swimming skills. Responsibilities include monitoring pool safety, teaching swimming techniques, and maintaining cleanliness. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess current certifications in First Aid and CPR. This is a seasonal position from May to September with potential extension into fall.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to teach various swimming techniques.
• Swim Instructor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas and enforce safety rules.
• Provide constructive feedback to participants.
• Manage class transitions efficiently.
