Job summary

Five Below in Denton, TX is seeking a store leadership-minded crew member to oversee daily operations and guest experience. You will help train associates, manage tasks, and support a fast, friendly checkout process.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of management experience, strong communication, and flexibility to work varied hours. Starting hourly pay is $11.50, with growth opportunities within Five Below.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts if required.

Responsibilities

• WOW customers through personal interaction and provide friendly service at checkout.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience and ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high performance and service quality.
• Assist receiving, unpacking, and stocking of new merchandise for quick floor placement.
• Occasionally manage opening/closing duties, cash handling, alarms, and store readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training to improve policy knowledge and performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery efforts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and operations including stockroom and facilities.
