Job summary

JCPenney Portrait Team is hiring for a Seasonal Part-Time Team Member role in-store. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $17.00 and includes paid training in photography and sales, plus incentives and a friendly work environment.

Responsibilities include taking fun, creative photos, guiding the sales process to meet targets, engaging with customers to schedule sessions, and ensuring an excellent customer experience end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• Prior retail, sales, service, or photography experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with children and adults.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Capture photos that are fun and creative to exceed customers' expectations.
• Perform the sales process to achieve Sales Average expectations.
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions.
• Provide a wonderful customer experience from start to finish.
