Job summary

Shutterfly is hiring for the JCPenney Portrait Team in Visalia, CA. This seasonal, part-time position emphasizes a fun, upbeat personality and a customer-first approach to photo sessions for infants, children, and adults.

You’ll capture creative photos, guide customers through the sales process, and schedule sessions while delivering a memorable experience from start to finish. Prior retail or photography experience is preferred but not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age, with high school diploma or GED Equivalent
• Previous retail, sale, service, or photography experience is preferred
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with children and adults
• Basic math and computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry)
• No experience necessary!

Responsibilities

• Capture photos that are fun and creative to exceed the customers’ expectations
• Perform the sales process to achieve Sales Average expectations
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions
