Job summary

Shutterfly, Inc. is hiring for the JCPenney Portrait Team in Scranton as Seasonal Part-Time Team Members. You will capture photos that are fun and creative and guide customers through the sales process in a lively retail studio.

This role offers an hourly pay rate of $16.00, paid training, flexible schedules, and a supportive team. Prior retail or photography experience is preferred but not required; strong communication helps you succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age with HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous retail, sales, service, or photography experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Capture photos that are fun and creative to exceed customers' expectations.
• Perform the sales process to achieve Sales Average expectations.
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions.
• Provide a wonderful customer experience from start to finish.

What You’ll Do Here

• Capture photos that are fun and creative to exceed the customers’ expectations
• Perform the sales process to achieve Sales Average expectations
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions
• Provide a wonderful customer experience from start to finish

The Skills You’ll Bring

• Minimum 18 years of age, with high school diploma or GED Equivalent
• Previous retail, sale, service, or photography experience is preferred
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with children and adults
• Basic math and computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry)
• No experience necessary!
