Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a part-time Store Support Teammate at University Park Mall Mishawaka, IN. You will greet guests, process transactions at the POS, and help maintain engaging product displays throughout the store.

You will work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings and weekends, and you will contribute to a clean, organized shopping environment while following Buckle’s ethics and policies.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and major holidays.
• Greet guests and assist with store questions and merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions about store and merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and key shopping days.
• Complete Guest transactions by operating the POS and bagging purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, policies, payments, exchanges and security practices.
• Monitor security risks and know how to prevent or handle incidents.
• Assist Operations Manager/Visual Merchandiser with merchandising tasks and displays.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and shopper-friendly.
• Follow Buckle Code of Ethics and company policies.

Summary

The Store Support Teammate is responsible for fulfilling our mission statement, “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” Additionally, this position completes a variety of sales support tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is equipped to answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs.
• Complete Guest transactions by operating the Point of Sale (POS) software and bagging purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser in performing merchandising tasks, such as preparing displays (at heights no greater than ten feet off the ground level), organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Consistently maintain a clean, organized and shoppable store to fulfill Buckle’s mission statement.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all of Buckle’s policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
