Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Seasonal Operations Associate to support in-store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This is an early morning position where you will work with the task team to perform functions before the store opens, handling pricing, replenishment, backroom organization, and online order pick up.

As a seasonal hire you will have a defined employment period, with potential extension based on performance and availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service and assist shoppers.
• Execute pricing and signage by updating ticket prices and store signage efficiently.
• Replenish and restock the store to ensure desired styles and sizes are available on the floor.
• Receive and unload merchandise and prepare it for backroom storage.
• Maintain backroom standards: keep the stockroom safe, clean and organized.
• Assist with online order pickup (jcp.com) and fulfill online orders as needed.
• Implement merchandising plans and place products according to leadership guidance.
• Participate in a learning environment by absorbing new information from peers and training materials.
