Job summary

A seasonal retail company seeks an experienced Assistant Store Manager in Westfield, MA. The role includes supporting the Store Manager with staffing, setup, and merchandising, while ensuring maximum profitability through excellent guest services and efficient operational control. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess prior retail management experience, and be able to work flexible hours, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement is 18.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Physical demands: 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
• Prior retail management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
• Ensure maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services.
• Control expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
