Job summary

Läderach, a Swiss chocolatier, invites you to join as a Seasonal Store Associate at South Shore Plaza in Houston. This part-time role is ideal for chocolate lovers who enjoy delivering memorable customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will assist customers, handle sales and gift packaging, support visual merchandising, and help maintain store standards. Prior retail experience plus a passion for quality chocolate will help you thrive in our energetic team.

Seasonal Store Associate

APart-Time Läderach Seasonal Store Associateis a brand ambassador, passionate about providing a wonderful shopping experience for Läderach customers. The ideal Store Associate is a chocolate-lover with vibrant energy and a welcoming personality who enjoys a dynamic retail environment.

What you can expect

• You will deliver outstanding customer experience, as well as a similar environment for the in-house team
• You will ensure that production goals are met, including product-finishing projects
• You will execute product sales and register duties, including shop and shelf care, gift packaging and in-shop order fulfillment
• You will assist the store sales goals through helpful recommendations
• You will help to achieve in-store compliance and loss prevention standards
• You will follow merchandising and food safety protocols
• You will support store managers with visual merchandising set up and other store-related projects

What we expect from you

• You have at least 1 year of experience in retail sales or similar fast-paced, customer-minded environment, with increasing levels of responsibility
• You are equipped with strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively
• You are reliable and flexible with scheduling based on store needs
• You are quality-minded with keen attention to detail
• You are passionate about chocolate

Physical Requirements:

• Depending on the length of the shift, employees may need to have physical stamina to remain active and stand for long hours, often walking or standing in a fast-paced environment.
• This position requires the ability to move quickly between tasks, assist multiple customers at once, or handle unexpected changes (like restocking or re-organizing displays).
• Multitasking requires physical agility and the ability to stay organized.
• Employees may be required to bend, squat, or reach up high to organize or stock products.
• Some retail positions require employees to maintain cleanliness in the store, which can involve bending down to clean floors or wiping down displays.
• Restocking low shelves or accessing high displays may involve frequent bending or stretching.
• Requires the ability to lift 15-40 pounds.
