Läderach, a Swiss chocolate maker known for high-quality fresh chocolate, is seeking a Seasonal Store Associate in New York. This part-time role focuses on delivering a memorable shopping experience, guiding customers through product selections, and supporting in-store operations with energy and care.

You will assist with sales, maintain shop presentation, follow food safety and merchandising protocols, and help the team meet store goals.

Qualifications

Seasonal Store Associate

A Part-Time Läderach Seasonal Store Associate is a brand ambassador, passionate about providing a wonderful shopping experience for Läderach customers. The ideal Store Associate is a chocolate-lover with vibrant energy and a welcoming personality who enjoys a dynamic retail environment.

What You Can Expect

• You will deliver outstanding customer experience, as well as a similar environment for the in-house team
• You will ensure that production goals are met, including product-finishing projects
• You will execute product sales and register duties, including shop and shelf care, gift packaging and in-shop order fulfillment
• You will assist the store sales goals through helpful recommendations
• You will help to achieve in-store compliance and loss prevention standards
• You will follow merchandising and food safety protocols
• You will support store managers with visual merchandising set up and other store-related projects

What We Expect From You

• You have at least 1 year of experience in retail sales or similar fast-paced, customer-minded environment, with increasing levels of responsibility
• You are equipped with strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively
• You are reliable and flexible with scheduling based on store needs
• You are quality-minded with keen attention to detail
• You are passionate about chocolate

Physical Requirements

• Depending on the length of the shift, employees may need to have physical stamina to remain active and stand for long hours, often walking or standing in a fast-paced environment.
• This position requires the ability to move quickly between tasks, assist multiple customers at once, or handle unexpected changes (like restocking or re-organizing displays).
• Multitasking requires physical agility and the ability to stay organized.
• Employees may be required to bend, squat, or reach up high to organize or stock products.
• Some retail positions require employees to maintain cleanliness in the store, which can involve bending down to clean floors or wiping down displays.
• Restocking low shelves or accessing high displays may involve frequent bending or stretching.
• Requires the ability to lift 15-40 pounds.
