Job summary

The Container Store is hiring a Seasonal Retail Employee / Project Specialist in the United States. The role focuses on delivering a fantastic in-store and curbside customer experience, helping customers design and purchase storage solutions, and processing purchases with a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, suggesting organizational solutions, enrolling customers in rewards, maintaining the sales floor, and supporting curbside/pick-up orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Retail is dynamic; requires scheduling flexibility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets customers at the store entrance or throughout the store.
• Suggests solutions to customers' organizational challenges.
• Designs and sells storage and organization solutions.
• Operates the register with a focus on great customer experience.
• Introduces and enrolls customers in our rewards program.
• Performs merchandise processing during early morning or evenings.
• Keeps the Sales Floor stocked and presented per brand standards.
• Supports carryout to customers' cars via curbside or parking lot.
• Assists with cleaning routines including restrooms and vacuuming.
• Processes curbside pick-up and/or delivery orders.
• Organizes the stockroom to support selling efforts.
