Job summary

Kohl's in Ottumwa, IA is seeking a friendly, reliable retail associate to deliver outstanding customer service, assist with product selection, and ensure smooth store operations every shift. You will receive and process product freight, unload shipments, replenish the sales floor, support omni-channel fulfillment, greet customers, and help create a welcoming shopping experience with accuracy and speed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process product shipments, including unloading truck shipments.
• Replenish the sales floor based on sell-through and seasonal changes.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Support omni-channel operations and order fulfillment.
• Assist in training new hires on Kohl's brand standards, product knowledge, inventory procedures, productivity standards, tools and resources.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and company guidelines.
• Deliver speed of service at the point of sale and create a compelling customer experience.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., productivity, loyalty).
• Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Follow company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• All associates adhere to safety policies.
