Qualifications

• No experience necessary; stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results-oriented with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to read company directives, Handbook and Manuals.
• Ability to work a schedule to meet the store's business needs (early mornings/off hours).
• Ability to lift and move 45 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Ability to climb ladders and stock merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in maintaining an efficient and organized stockroom.
• Assist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment.
• Provide support for driving profitable sales, protecting company assets and following Company Handbook.
• Take personal accountability for individual performance.
• When entering the salesfloor, treat customers in a respectful and professional manner; adhere to dress code.
• Maintain high commitment and support for company initiatives.
• Take initiative during every shift to ensure shipment is processed in a timely manner.
• Report to shift with a professional, positive, can-do attitude.
• Demonstrate commitment to Kirkland's Home Values.
