Job summary

Kirkland's, Inc. in Bristol, TN is seeking a Stock Team Member to support freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment with a strong sense of urgency.

No experience is required; candidates should be energetic, results oriented, and reliable, with weekend, holiday, and evening availability and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds as needed. You will also help with price changes and merchandising duties while upholding company standards and safety rules in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• No experience necessary, stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and Manuals.
• Ability to work a schedule to meet the business needs of the store. (often early mornings and off hours)
• Ability to lift and move 45 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Ability to climb ladders and stock/browse merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in maintaining an efficient and organized stockroom.
• Assist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment.
• Provide support for driving profitable sales, protecting company assets and supporting the Company Handbook during shifts.
• Take personal accountability for individual performance.
• When entering the salesfloor, treat customers with respect; support branding and dress code.
• Maintain high commitment and support for company initiatives.
• Take initiative to ensure shipment is processed in a timely manner.
• Report to shift with a professional, positive attitude; demonstrate Kirkland's Home Values.
