Job summary

World Market is seeking team members for seasonal roles to help manage merchandise and assist customers in our busy stores. You’ll participate in freight handling, stocking, pricing, and ensuring a safe, welcoming shopping environment while sharing product knowledge with guests.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.
• Ability to initiate conversations with customers is important.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Minimum age of 16 years.

Responsibilities

• Process freight and unload trucks.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Maintain an organized stockroom.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.
• Checkout customers in store and assist with buy-online-pickup-in-store as needed.
• Share passion and product knowledge to help customers find the perfect item.
