Job summary

World Market is seeking friendly seasonal team members to join our world of unique goods and global finds. In this role you’ll help process freight, unload trucks, maintain merchandising and pricing, assist customers on the floor, and help ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

You’ll also support checkout and buy-online-pickup-in-store needs as required. We offer flexible scheduling that supports your lifestyle, up to 30% shopping discount for you and a designated shopper, hands-on

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative, open minded, adaptable, honest, and respectful culture.
• Retail experience a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication & time management skills.
• Ability to initiate a conversation.
• Minimum Age 16 years.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process freight and unload trucks.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and floor replenishment standards.
• Maintain an organized stockroom.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.
• Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases as needed
• Share your passion and knowledge for our products and help customers find the perfect “anything.”
