Job summary

World Market is hiring for seasonal roles at our Pasadena store. You’ll process freight, stock shelves, and help customers find the perfect items. The job supports a friendly, fast-paced retail environment with emphasis on teamwork and product knowledge.

We value a can-do attitude, strong communication, and reliability. Retail experience is a plus, but not required; must be at least 16 years old and able to lift up to 40 lbs. Benefits include sick leave and employee discounts.

What You’ll Do

• Process freight and unload trucks
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.

The job duties described above entail having access to personal information, access to credit card information, access to merchandise and equipment, handling cash, interacting with the public, and selling of alcohol which would be considered while evaluating criminal history in accordance with LA County’s Fair Chance ordinance.

Hourly Pay Range is $18.57-$19.07 Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service. All associates earn paid sick leave. Benefits for full-time employment on the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment include offerings for programs including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending, Commuter Benefits and Employee Assistance.
