Job summary

InterHealth Staffing, a division of Tampa General Hospital, seeks a Seasonal Speech Language Pathologist to join our 13-week program at TGH Crystal River. The role focuses on evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of speech, voice and language disorders in a hospital setting.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, Florida (or Compact) license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA; Florida license or Compact State eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Create therapy plans with short- and long-term goals based on assessments.
• Administer therapies and ensure they are safe and in line with care plans.
• Re-assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document therapy sessions and progress for accurate billing and compliance.
• Coordinate patient schedules and communicate with care teams.
