Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command at Pearl Harbor seeks a Seasonal Store Merchandiser - Softlines to process and place merchandise, set up floor displays, and manage signage according to planograms. You’ll ensure displays are attractive and stocked, coordinating with management and other departments.

Responsibilities include maintaining department appearance, updating pricing and stock levels, and supporting sales through effective merchandising and customer service.

Qualifications

• 6 months clerical office or retail sales store work experience.
• 6 months progressively responsible experience in retail merchandising and sales.
• GED or high school diploma may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Decide how goods should be displayed to maximize interest while maintaining store standards.
• Maintain department appearance and ensure displays/racks are in good order with correct signage.
• Utilize knowledge of merchandise selection and price points to meet merchandising standards.
• Verify quantity availability and pricing before set-up.
• Ensure areas are fully stocked and merchandise is neatly arranged.
• Assist with creating store displays and conducting periodic inventories.
