Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a seasonal snowcat operator at June Mountain in June Lake, California. The role offers hourly pay between $20.70 and $29.51, with opportunities for graveyard shifts and a chance to groom and maintain trails across the resort.

Ideal candidates will have over 1000 hours of snowcat operation experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work independently. Training through PistenBully Pro-Academy is expected; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1000+ hrs of snowcat operation experience.
• Winch cat experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently on trail grooming and related projects.
• Strong verbal communication and writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform trail grooming, trail grading and push projects.
• Operate snowcat equipment and manage basic troubleshooting.
• May be scheduled for graveyard shifts (roughly 12:30am–8:30am).
