Job summary

Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is seeking a Winter Snowboard Instructor for the seasonal winter season in Idaho. You will teach individuals and groups, emphasizing safety, fun, and lifelong snowboarding interest.

Responsibilities include student instruction across ages, maintaining safety standards, and completing required paperwork. Join the Ski & Snowboard School team and contribute to a community-focused mountain experience.

Qualifications

Passion for Bogus Basin's mission.
Ability to work with people of all ages, especially children.
Basic knowledge of snowboarding and ability to ride safely.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to make sound decisions during stressful situations.
Physical ability to stand, balance, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform heavy work.

Responsibilities

Instruct program, group, and private lessons for students of any age or ability.
Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude with students, guests, and staff.
Greet students at meeting areas and assist supervisors in organizing classes.
Create a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment.
Promote safety by following and reporting any unsafe conditions.
Adapt teaching methods to students' age, temperament, and desires.
Complete all required paperwork and attend staff trainings.
