Job summary

Mammoth Mountain, operated by Alterra, is seeking a seasonal snowboard coach in Mammoth Lakes, CA. You will train athletes of all ages, collaborate with fellow coaches to shape season plans, and demonstrate techniques while maintaining detailed training journals.

Requirements include two seasons of coaching or competition experience, a high school diploma, and fluent English. Proficiency with Word, Excel and Google Docs is expected.

Qualifications

• Two seasons coaching athletes or prior competition experience preferred.
• High School graduate and fluent in English.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills in Word, Excel and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, fun and interesting training for Snowboarders of all ages.
• Works with other coaches to design, implement, evaluate and adjust season-long training and competition plans.
• Teaches by example with frequent demonstrations.
• Maintains accurate daily journal of training activities and communicates with parents.
