Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 in Gorham, NH. Snow Cat Operators, Cooks, Drivers, Instructors and more join a seasonal team to groom slopes and ensure ski-area safety.

Starting wages range from $22.26 to $27.83 per hour. Roles offer full-time and part-time hours with benefits, training, and employee passes. Applications are rolling through December 15th or until positions are filled.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years snow grooming experience required.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Able to work in small groups as well as independently.
• Able to sit for extended periods and climb on/off equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understand the use, operation, and maintenance of heavy equipment used for snow/slope grooming.
• Operate snow/slope grooming equipment, such as a snowcat, to maintain resort snow trails and ski slopes.
• Maintain knowledge of the mountain and safety regulations.
• Perform basic inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate clearly via 2-way radio and with shop mechanics when needed.
• Coordinate with coworkers and other departments to maintain relations.
• Other duties as assigned.
