Job summary

Greg's Services is seeking dependable team members for on-call winter maintenance duties in Iowa. Training runs from late September to November, with most work occurring overnight when buildings are vacant. No uniform is provided; workers supply their own boots, jackets, and gloves.

Drivers’ licenses are not required but reliable transportation to shop or job sites is needed. Teams of 2–4 are common, and safety is the top priority.

• Operate snow blowers, salters, and various shovels; lifting up to 50+ pounds.

Job description

Candidates must be hardworking, dependable, honest and committed. This position is on-call based as you will be working dependent on the weather. Crews are usually made up of 2-4 people (refer your friends!) You will be using various pieces of equipment such as snow blowers, salters, and different types of shovels (lifting of 50+ pounds may be necessary). Attention to detail is key as safety is our top priority. A valid driver’s license is NOT needed, however, reliable transportation will be required to either get you to your designated shop or work site (keep in mind that buses do not run 24/7, and the majority of our work is done overnight while customer buildings are vacant). We do NOT provide any type of uniforms besides a safety vest. You are in charge of supplying your own boots, jackets, gloves, etc. Training starts end of September and runs through November.
