Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a part-time Shoe Stylist to drive sales by applying effective selling techniques and building a client base in our Fort Worth store. You will engage customers, learn product details, promotions, and brand messaging.

You'll support store operations, maintain visual standards, and participate in flexible scheduling that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A 1-2 years retail background and strong communication are preferred; employee discounts and seasonal shoe

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer and provide outstanding service.
• Maintain high standards of customer service in all aspects.
• Understand product information, promotions, and advertising.
• Demonstrate sales skills to achieve sales productivity.
• Assist in store operations such as floor moves, merchandising, displays, cleaning, and stock replenishment.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform duties outside of your role.

The Shoe Stylist is responsible for applying selling techniques to merchandise and developing a client base to build sales.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer-friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer.
• Maintain outstanding standards in every aspect of customer service.
• Possess an understanding of all product information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertising efforts.
• Demonstrate salesmanship skills by consistently achieving and maintaining sales productivity levels.
• Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside of your specific role.

Requirements
