Job summary

Red Aspen is seeking a Shipping Specialist, Seasonal Daytime, in Meridian, Idaho. You will pick, pack, and ship orders, maintain packing areas, and assist with kitting tasks as needed. The role runs full-time Monday through Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, from Oct 26, 2026 to Jan 15, 2027, with mandatory dates Nov 27–28.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to stand for long periods, lift 30+ pounds, and use warehouse software. This temporary position offers an hourly wage of $15.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on weekends after Thanksgiving and in the 2nd week of January.
• Detail-oriented to ensure orders are packed and shipped with care.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift 30+ pounds and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable operating a computer and reading software information.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship Red Aspen products to fulfill orders.
• Identify the correct product and quantity on order pack slip with 100% accuracy.
• Pack orders according to internal guidelines.
• Ship orders using internal shipping software.
• Restock and clean packing station at end of shift.
• Assist with warehouse kitting assignments as needed.

Job Purpose

As a shipping specialist, you will play an integral role in getting products to our customers on time. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team and strengthen valuable skills including organization, communication and attention to detail. In conjunction with preparing and shipping orders for our loyal customers, you will work with supervisors who are committed to helping you find success.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship Red Aspen products to fulfill orders
• Identify the proper product and quantity on order pack slip – striving for 100% accuracy in items picked
• Securely pack orders based on internal packaging guidelines
• Ship orders using internal shipping software
• Restock and clean packing station at the end of every shift
• Assist with special warehouse kitting assignments as needed

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, stand, walk, push and pull, reach above shoulder level, have both arms and legs accessible, and perform manual dexterity
• Ability to occasionally climb a ladder and kneel
• Ability to read basic English and software information on devices
• Working knowledge of computers and all applicable software including Microsoft Office products; Comfortable troubleshooting Warehouse Management Software issues

The pay range for this role is:
15 - 15 USD per hour(Red Aspen Headquarters)
