Job summary

Stella 34 is seeking seasonal servers in New York, NY to join our team. You will greet guests, present menus, and take food and beverage orders while delivering exceptional service.

This tipped, hourly role offers weekly pay, training opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules. Cash handling and POS experience are beneficial; prior high-volume server work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• One year of server experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning

Delaware North’s Patina Group is hiring seasonal Servers to join our team at Stella 34 in New York, New York. As a Server, you will have the privilege of representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

The season runs from the end of September to the first week of January

Pay

$11.35 – $11.35 / hour

More about you

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Beneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as walk, which may include walking up stairs, standing, and bending for long periods of time
• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
