Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is hiring security officers in Michigan for first, second, and third shift across multiple sites. You will support client staff, visitors, and coworkers with a professional demeanor and maintain a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident reporting, and emergency response using CPR/First Aid/AED. Applicants must meet education requirements; veterans and those with related experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with high school diploma or GED (MCL 338.1067).
• Must be 21+ with Michigan CPL or LEOSA for armed work.
• Must pass drug screening and comply with federal marijuana laws.
• No felony convictions per MCL 338.1060
• Able to sit/stand/walk 8–12 hours, lift 50 lbs (70 lbs armed).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Must see 20 feet clearly and hear in loud environments.
• Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers with professional demeanor.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Maintain security presence in lobbies, reception areas, control centers.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as required.
• Ensure access control and verify IDs.
• Maintain safety and report safety concerns.
• Provide emergency response and communicate with emergency personnel.
• Maintain communication with client staff and site supervisor.
