Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer experiences on the sales floor. You will answer questions, recommend products, and assist the Store Leadership team in maintaining brand standards and smooth operations.

You will engage customers, demonstrate merchandise, and support a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on service, teamwork, and accuracy in transactions and stock management.

Qualifications

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
• 2 or fewer years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience operating Inventory and POS systems and other retail software tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and issues about product features, benefits, and availability.
• Maintain store visual merchandising standards, cleanliness, and safety; restock and retrieve merchandise as needed.
• Handle cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) accurately and efficiently.
• Support store profitability by managing product flow and replenishment across the store.
