Job summary

Five Below is seeking part-time Seasonal Sales Associates to join our energetic team during the holiday season. You will deliver outstanding customer service, assist with merchandise, and ensure the floor is well-stocked and checkout experiences are smooth.

We value friendly, proactive associates with strong communication and the ability to handle multiple customers. The role runs October through January and offers hourly compensation starting at $11.00 with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: assess needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions: inform customers about current store events, promotions, and activities to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: address issues and offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: inform management about restocking, service requirements, and feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: collaborate with the team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
