Job summary

Brooklinen's Washington DC store is seeking Seasonal Sales Associates to deliver premium customer experiences during the holiday rush. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll balance selling with daily tasks, greet customers warmly, and help with inventory and merchandising.

This seasonal contract runs mid-October 2026 through January 2027. Expect up to 25 hours per week, with at least two weekend shifts, and the possibility of permanent placement afterward.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Adaptable and proactive on the floor.
• Passion for the Soft Home space and home styling.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Experience with Shopify POS, Slack, and Google Workspace is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Premium Selling & Service Execution: create a warm, inclusive shopping experience.
• Expert Product Storytelling: inform customers about product features and gifting options.
• Daily Operational Tasks: keep the sales floor clean and organized and handle POS transactions.
• Inventory Accuracy Support: assist with stock replenishment and shipments.
• Visual Merchandising Maintenance: support visual updates per HQ directives.
• Active Shift Collaboration: participate in daily team huddles and ensure floor coverage.
• In-the-Moment Problem Solving: resolve routine questions and escalate when needed.
• Continuous Improvement: seek feedback and apply coaching to improve styling and service.
