Job summary

Five Below is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate to be at the heart of our busy holiday season. You will deliver outstanding customer service, assist with product knowledge, and help drive sales through friendly interaction and efficient checkout experiences.

The role is part-time and temporary (October through January). You’ll work with a dynamic team, stay stocked, and support store events while learning about our products and promotions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old.
Available to work a flexible schedule.
Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (computers, cash registers, handheld and mobile devices).
Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally.
Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
On-the-job training provides procedural knowledge.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers promptly and efficiently.
Understand needs, share product knowledge, and offer recommendations.
Promote store events and promotions to drive sales.
Resolve customer concerns and offer alternatives when possible.
Report restocking and service requirements to management in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive environment.
