Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and help create memorable in-store experiences. You will assist customers with product recommendations and ensure smooth checkout processes.

The role supports the store team in maintaining visual standards, stock handling, and contributing to store profitability. Flexible retail schedule and employee discounts are included, with wellness time off and access to EAP programs.

Qualifications

• No specific education required (HS diploma or GED preferred).
• 2 (or less) years of retail experience.
• Experience with Inventory and POS systems; familiarity with retail software tools.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions and assisting with product recommendations.
• Maintain store standards for merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from floors or stock.
• Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) efficiently and accurately.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing product flow.
