Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Retail Selling Colleague to deliver outstanding service and personalized recommendations on the sales floor and in fitting rooms. You will build relationships, understand customer needs, and drive sales through genuine hospitality and product knowledge.

You will help keep the space clean, organized, and inviting, and support merchandise moves while meeting daily goals and delivering memorable shopping experiences for every customer.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
• Able to meet daily sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build relationships to understand their needs.
• Stay informed about new arrivals, top sellers, promotions and sales goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and fitting rooms.
• Recover floor and signage, assist with merchandise moves as needed.
• Promote Macy's Loyalty program and close sales with a friendly, confident approach.
