Job summary

Five Below is seeking part-time Seasonal Sales Associates for our busy holiday season—October through January. You will deliver outstanding customer service, keep merchandise organized, and ensure a seamless checkout experience at the register in a fast-paced store environment.

Greet customers, assess their needs with product knowledge, promote events and promotions, and help restock and maintain the sales floor.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Comfortable with technology including computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices.
• Good communicator with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues professionally.
• Basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Willingness to learn on-the-job procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly, acknowledging them and providing help.
• Understand and meet customer needs using product knowledge and recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions to boost sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer alternatives to turns of returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate merchandise restocking and service needs to management in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company goals.
