Job summary

Coastal Farm in The Dalles, Oregon is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate for a 120-day assignment. You will support customer service, merchandising, signing, pricing, POS operations, and general store upkeep to drive sales.

This role requires proven written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You will work with knowledge of Coastal Farm products, assist in freight handling, and help in other

• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning – such as, but not limited to, vacuuming, replacing full trash bags with new.

Primary Purpose

To be responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales,

housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss

prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find

the location of products.

• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Constant radio communication with all associates.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
• Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning – such as, but not limited to, vacuuming, replacing full trashes with new

trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.

• Other duties assigned as needed.
