Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings, Inc. in Seymour, IN is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to help customers and maintain the store during peak periods. The role is temporary to support higher business volume throughout the year.

You will greet customers, run the register, know promotions, assist with receiving and merchandising, and keep the front end clean and organized. This position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers entering and exiting the store and at the front end.
• Operate the register accurately and efficiently.
• Be knowledgeable of promotions to answer questions and support donation programs.
• Maintain a neat and organized front end work area.
• Assist with receiving, pricing, merchandising, and store recovery.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and recover as required.
• Complete any additional duties as assigned.

The Seasonal Sales Associate assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance. This position is only designated during the company identified seasonal periods throughout the year. This position is temporary to help support increased business during high volume times of the year.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register.
• Be knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to ensure that customer questions can be answered and to assist with selling product; support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.
• Maintain a neat and organized front end work area.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
