Job summary

World Market in Seattle is seeking seasonal associates to join our friendly team and deliver a memorable shopping experience. You’ll help customers find products, ring up purchases, restock shelves, and keep the store welcoming and organized.

You’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, up to a 30% discount on our unique finds, wellness resources, recognition programs, and hands-on training geared toward career growth. Minimum age 16 and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for a variety of duties including customer service and making the shopping experience fun and memorable for our customer:

• Share your passion and knowledge for our products and help customers find the perfect “anything.”
• Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Participate in processing freight and truck unload as needed.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.

Experience & Skills You’ll Bring

• A can-do attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative, open minded, adaptable, honest, and respectful culture.
• Retail experience a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication & time management skills.
• Ability to initiate a conversation.
• Minimum Age 16 years.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Hourly Pay Range is $22.00-$22.50

Seasonal associates receive paid sick leave (one hour for every 30 hours worked) upon hire. If offered regular employment at the end of the seasonal period, additional benefits are available dependent upon classification.
