World Market in Arlington, TX invites you to join our seasonal team, bringing the world’s design finds to customers. You'll help shoppers discover decor and gifts, ring up sales, and keep our colorful aisles welcoming.

No previous retail required, just a can-do attitude, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and an employee discount while you learn about product trends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to start conversations and assist customers.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and provide memorable shopping experiences.
• Operate in-store checkout and support buy-online-pickup-in-store purchases.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Assist with processing freight and truck unloading as needed.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for a variety of duties including customer service and making the shopping experience fun and memorable for our customer:

• Share your passion and knowledge for our products and help customers find the perfect "anything".
• Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Participate in processing freight and truck unload as needed.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.

Experience & Skills You’ll Bring

• A can-do attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative, open minded, adaptable, honest, and respectful culture.
• Retail experience a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication & time management skills.
• Ability to initiate a conversation.
• Minimum Age 16 years.
