Showy LLC is seeking a Seasonal Sales Assistant to represent our jewelry and accessories at indoor events, markets, and pop-ups across the DMV area this holiday season. You will help with setup, styling, and engaging shoppers to drive sales. This role is ideal for college students seeking flexible weekend hours.

Expect about 4–5 events per month, roughly 6 hours per event, with ~25 hours in November and up to 50 hours in December. Pay is $20 per hour plus parking reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and driver’s license.
• English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to stand for event durations and lift display materials.

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and personable Seasonal Sales Assistant to represent our brand at indoor events, markets, and pop-ups across the DMV (DC & Maryland) area this holiday season.

In this role, you will help manage our event setup, showcase our jewelry and accessories, engage with shoppers, and drive holiday sales. This position is ideal for college students looking for flexible weekend hours and a fun, fast-paced work environment!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, styling, and breakdown of event display booths.
• Welcoming shoppers, sharing product details, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Drive sales and actively work toward reaching event sales goals.
• Process customer payments and handle product inventory carefully.
• Maintain a neat, well-organized, and visually appealing display.

Requirements

• Age: 18 years of age or older.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (current college students preferred!).
• Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle (required to commute independently to various indoor venues across the DMV area).
• Skills: Strong communication skills, good personal presentation, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Language: English proficiency required; Spanish fluency is a major plus but not required!
• Physical Ability: Able to stand for event durations and lift standard event display materials/boxes.
