Job summary

The Seasonal RN Float position at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (a UHS facility) offers night shifts (7p–7a) with a $60/hr base plus $5 night differential for total potential earnings of $65/hr. This temporary 6-month assignment begins 12/8/26 and ends 6/12/27, based in Bradenton, FL.

The facility supports a comprehensive benefits program and career development across UHS locations. Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited RN program, hold a Florida (or Compact) license, and have BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Required 2 years full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care setting.
• All Nursing Units require ACLS by start date; Women’s Center requires NRP by start date; ICU/PCU requires NIH within 90 days; ER requires PALS and CPI within 90 days; PACU requires PALS within 90 days.

Job Overview:

  • ICU/PCU: NIH within 90 days of start date.
  • ER: PALS, CPI within 90 days of start date, NIH within 90 days of start date.
  • PACU: PALS as of start date (inexperienced PACU nurses within 90 days of start date.
