Job summary

Northwest Healthcare at Oro Valley Hospital is seeking an RN for a seasonal, full-time 13-week assignment in the PreOp, PACU, and operating room support areas. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, post-anesthesia care, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a clinical nursing role in an acute care setting.
• RN license required; BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care before, during, and after surgery.
• Monitor and document patient status and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and support anesthesia recovery in PACU.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Maintain documentation in the medical record and participate in quality improvements.
