Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a seasonal night shift on the Med Surg Tele Unit (2RS). This role requires at least 2 years of acute care nursing and Florida RN licensure, plus BLS and ACLS certifications.

The seasonal rate is $70/hr with night shift differential and a 6-month contract. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision and prescription drug plans, a 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for tuition

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards.
• Communicate with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs.
• Administer IVs and medications to aid in patient health.
• Use medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
