Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the 6K Pre Post area. The 13-week assignment offers competitive base pay, potential extensions, and a path to permanent opportunities within a Magnet-designated nursing team known for compassionate care.

Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in the division, be competent to work independently, and hold an active Florida RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida RN license.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years' nursing experience in the specific division hired into.
• Prior PACU PreOp and ICU/critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients under supervision and guidance.
• Plan and implement individualized, goal-directed patient care.
• Document nursing assessments and communicate plan with the care team.
• Identify situations requiring intervention and escalate as needed.
• Maintain patient rights and adhere to hospital policies and quality improvement principles.
